Our online catalog provides images and descriptions of the items in the sale.
We encourage you to inspect them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
You should also review the Conditions of Sale (below) before bidding. You can bid on sale lots any of the following ways:
- Order Bidding (Online):
Go to our search page and look through lots online. When you find a lot that you want to bid on click the "Place Order Bid" button. If you are not already registered with JWPPA, you will be prompted to register at that time.

- Order Bidding (by Fax):
To place order bids by fax download our Order Bid Form.
- Live Online: Go to eBayLive or Live Auctioneers
- Telephone Bidding:
We will use our best efforts to accommodate requests to bid by phone. However, phone lines are limited. Please make arrangements as far as possible in advance of the sale.
Phone bidders must sign and return our Order Bid Form.
Phone bidders should consider leaving a "Back Up Bid", so that JWPPA can still execute a bid for you in the event you cannot be reached by phone. Your phone agent is the only person who will have this bid and will only use it to bid in the event that he/she cannot reach you. A "Back Up Bid" is not mandatory; you can place one at your discretion.

Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax
A buyer’s premium of twenty (20) percent will be charged on each lot sold. The buyer’s premium is added to the final hammer price along with Illinois and Chicago sales tax when applicable. Sales tax will not be assessed for items shipped out of state or to purchasers presenting a resale certificate.

Shipping
All packing and handling of purchased lots are the responsibility of the purchaser. JWPPA will make arrangements with an outside agency to act as the primary shipper for the sale, and will provide alternate shipping suggestions on request. CLICK HERE for General Shipping Information

Payment
JWPPA accepts payment in the form of cash, certified checks, money orders, wire transfers, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
